 DR. TIMOTHY COX, PASTOR
Tim Cox, a native of Alabama, has served as Senior Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church since August of 1998. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in 1995 with a Doctorate of Ministry. He also has a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from Mobile College. Dr. Cox has served in ministry since 1987, all of which has been within the state of Alabama.

Alan Kuykendall, a native of Georgia, is serving as Interim Associate Pastor. Up early, extended quiet time followed by a walk in the woods. Daily time with my wife and family are also very important to me
The best advice I could give a 20 year old is... “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths” (Proverbs 3:5). Actually, Proverbs 3:5-12 is excellent advice for any person!

The best advice I could give a 20 year old is... Philippians 4:6 and 7 “Be anxious for nothing (spouse, career, possessions. . .), but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Becky King, who has lived in Chelsea since 1978, has served as Preschool Director since September 1997. In caring for our preschoolers, she has a heart for each one to learn Biblical truths and understand God's love. Her goal is that each child will understand that God has a purpose for their life and each child will grow into the person He created them to be.
