1 The LORD is
my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He
makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the
still waters.
3 He restores
my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His
name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare
a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my
head with oil; My cup runs over.
6 Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And
I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
8 For by
grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of
works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are
His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which
God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them

life
8 Now there
were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And behold,
an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the
Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.
10 Then
the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I
bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all
people.
11 For
there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord.
12 And
this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in
swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And
suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly
host praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on
earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

2 Then
He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3. Blessed
are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed
are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed
are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness, For they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are
the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall
see God.
9 Blessed are
the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for
righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed
are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds

for My sake.
12 Rejoice

for so they persecuted the
prophets who were before
you.

God, believe also in Me.
2 In
My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
4 And
where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas
said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going,
and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus
said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through Me.”
19 Do
not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and
rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
20 But lay up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust
destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
