The Great Commission is "The Mission"
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

Acts 1:8 is the strategy of the Church "on mission"
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Missions is a process and lifestyle of every believer. This process involves four life-transforming truths…Loving God, Loving Others, Serving God, and Serving Others. These are fundamental, life-transforming truths that we cannot miss as Disciples of Christ. As a Missions Ministry, our passion is to be a church family of world-impacting disciples who are partnering with others around the world to fulfill the Great Commission with an Acts 1:8 focus. Let’s all live for the sake of God’s glory among all nations. We were all created to impact the world for the glory of Christ. We have the great privilege to partner and “Serve Others” with a ministry called MEDmission. On the first Saturday of each month from 9-12noon, Liberty members meet at the MEDmission warehouse (120 W. Oxmoor Rd. Homewood) to organize and pack medical supplies that will be shipped to missionaries around the world.
